Croasdaile Team Volunteers in Project Homeless Connect

The Croasdaile Dental Arts team at the Homeless Connect Project in Durham on Jan 25th 2018

On January 25th, 2018, Dr. Turner, Kristy, Kim, and our retiree, Dr. Jordan volunteered their knowledge, experience, and 8 hours of their time to provide free dental care to our local homeless population as participants of Project Homeless Connect.

When it comes to our community, quite often the words “compassion and connection” are associated with Croasdaile Dental Arts because we are known for building lasting relationships with patients and because we invest in the well-being of the greater Durham area by providing our specialized support to local charities like Project Homeless Connect and many others.

What is Project Homeless Connect?

Project Homeless Connect is a one-day, one-stop event to provide people in Durham that are experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness with a broad range of services including housing, employment, health and dental care, mental health care, veterans’ and social service benefits, legal services, and more.

Each year the event witnesses an increase in guests as a reflection of the increase in need seen in our community.

Our Durham dentists and skilled dental team feel that it was a privilege to play a part in such a generous and caring event that makes a world of difference in the lives of all of these people who are our neighbors.

A special thanks to Project Homeless Connect and all who contributed!
