We are giving out a big shout out to our dental team and leading Durham, NC, dentist Dr. Turner! On Sunday, they volunteered their time and clinical skills to treat patients in a community event hosted by the Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers (TROSA)!
What is TROSA?
TROSA is a comprehensive two year residential substance abuse recovery program in Durham, North Carolina helping substance abusers, who strongly desire to change their lives. TROSA strives to give their patients the tools they need to rebuild their lives and maintain their sobriety when they leave TROSA.
Some of their program elements include vocational training, education, counseling, mentoring, leadership training, and aftercare.
True Honor to Make a Difference!
The patients were so appreciative of the care and treatment they received on Sunday. It was so fulfilling knowing that a couple of hours of their time made such a difference in someone’s life.
We always try to apply our skills and expertise outside the dental office. We truly care about the community and are honored we can make a difference to someone’s life.
