Croasdaile Dental Arts: Support For Hurricane Helene Relief Donation Drive

At Croasdaile Dental Arts, we believe in giving back.

As a local dental practiceThis link leads to Home page in Durham, NC, we care not only about the smiles we help create but about the well-being of our community and neighbors.

Recently, Hurricane HeleneThis link opens a new tab to the Federal Emergency Management Agency website devastated parts of Western North Carolina, and many mountain towns are now facing extreme challenges.

With homes destroyed and families displaced, the need for help is greater than ever.

These areas rely heavily on tourism for their livelihoods, and the hurricane’s impact has made recovery even harder.

Winds and flash floods left many communities in ruins.

To help our neighbors rebuild, we launched a donation drive from October 1-10.

This initiative is about more than collecting supplies. It’s about coming together as a community and doing our part to help rebuild lives.

We may be miles away from the hardest-hit areas, but we’re all connected by the spirit of compassion.

Here’s how our donation efforts unfolded and the difference they’ve made.

Making a difference together

First donation drop

Thanks to the amazing support of our team and patients, we made our first big donation drop.

On October 3rd, we delivered supplies to Cajun NavyThis link opens a new tab to the Cajun Navy Relief website Operations at the Hickory Regional Airport.

These supplies were immediately put to use in the hardest-hit areas. From food and water to basic essentials, every little bit helps.

Our first drop-off was met with gratitude and a reminder that together, we can make a significant impact.

Second donation drop

Our second round of donations took off shortly after the first. This time, we partnered with Executive Jet Port, located just north of Sanford, NC.

They transported critical supplies directly to the mountain towns. The relief teams on the ground quickly distributed these much-needed goods, providing families with some relief during these difficult times.

Internal drive success

Our internal donation drive ended last week and was a massive success.

Our team and patients came together, and their generosity filled our office with supplies. The support we received was overwhelming, from small items to large donations.

Every contribution matters and shows that working together can bring hope to those who need it most.

How you can still help

Even though the official donation drive ended on October 10th, the need for support continues.

Recovery from a disaster like this isn’t quick.

That’s why we are still encouraging anyone who wants to help to make a monetary donation directly to Samaritan’s PurseThis link leads to Samaritan’s Purse site.

This incredible organization is on the front lines of the recovery process, helping families rebuild homes and regain a sense of normalcy.

We may be a dental practice, but at Croasdaile Dental Arts, our mission extends beyond healthy teeth.

We believe in the power of community and are proud to be part of the recovery efforts for those affected by Hurricane Helene.

Looking forward

There’s still work to be done, but we’re making a difference together.

From our team to our patients, we thank you for your kindness and generosity. Whether you donated supplies or money or simply spread the word, every action counts.

We will continue to do our part and encourage everyone to stay involved in helping those in need.

For now, let’s keep the spirit of giving alive and continue to support our neighbors in Western North Carolina as they work to rebuild their lives.
