Can You Help Out Our Kids?
We love our Durham community and are always looking for ways to show our support. Our office is sponsoring a drive to benefit the Durham public school system through the Crayons2Calculators program.
Crayons2Calculators – Filling a Need!
Crayons2Calculators is a Durham nonprofit whose mission is to serve the educational and creative needs of students in the Durham public school system by providing free school supplies to classroom teachers.
Teachers report that they spend on average $500 to $1000 out of their own pockets to supply their classrooms each year and 75% say that a lack of supplies hinders their ability to implement their desired lessons. C2C operates a warehouse store near downtown Durham where public school teachers are invited to “shop” for the tools they need to educate the next generation.
How Can You Help?
We are collecting supplies that will be distributed to the neediest classrooms in the Durham community. If you would like to help, we encourage you to drop by our Durham dentist office and drop off your school supply donation before July 30th. Supplies do not need to be wrapped or sealed or good-as-new. They should, however, be functional and useful for children
